| Comments: |
We did a traverse over Mount Cube from 25A to Baker Road. There was plenty of mud to contend with on both ends of the trail and some not-minor iceflows near the summit on both sides of the mountain. Microspikes worked fine for us and it was also possible to bushwhack around the ice. It was overcast, but by the time we reached the north summit there were flurries limiting the views. When we got to the south summit the flurries stopped and we were able to see all 5 of the Vermont 4000 Footers. By the time we were approaching Baker Road the sun was breaking through the clouds. I'll have a full trail report with photos and videos up on the blog eventually. |
