Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty at Mt. Major but it fills up very quick.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes: No issues. All are very small.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No issues to note. Trails are great and well worn.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Isis handled this one without even blinking. It's easy for dogs.  
Bugs
Bugs: None... It's still too cold.  
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Penty on a rock at the Mt. Major Trail head... It almost looks like a yard sale.  
 
Comments
Comments: I revisited these two peaks instead of Piper and Whiteface. It was too beautiful a day to fuss over a trail head so, I headed back to these two as a familiar hike. Beautiful views for such small peaks. Enjoyed the quiet between Major and Straightback.
