Comments
Comments: We are slow and not the best hikers but this was a good start to 2016. Only a couple brief relatively steep sections (skilled hikers would likely call them moderate), the "hard parts" coming fairly early on the ascent; all in all an easy and pleasant hike for 5+ miles round trip. A few muddy patches up high. Slippery leaves down low which made one section tricky to descend for us. Folks of all ages were hiking including a huge group of about 20 people. We only saw a few folks going up but lots were starting late.
