Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple blowdowns easily hopped over. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: The ledges approaching South Baldface were a real challenge for my Golden Retriever who hikes and rock-hops a lot. Not sure this is a good area for most dogs. I had to lift her up a few times and a fall could result in serious injury.

Comments: I did this as a late afternoon/evening hike. The only ice was between the two peaks and it was soft. I had micros; but, didn't need them. I stopped and overnighted in the shelter and hiked out the following morning. Wonderful experience.
