All very step overable. Easy peasey. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are in great shape. This area is well traveled and well maintained. I packed out a few pieces of trash that may have fallen off a few packs. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Isis did great but take note... We did not do the ladders, we took the by-pass. Going down off Percival is very tricky and takes finesse. Your dog has to be comfortable on boulders with big spaces between them. We got to the cave and had to turn back (reascending the peak). I would not recommend this for most dogs. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Nope. Not yet. But I am packing spray now. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
Found one white Old Navy Women's tank top... Packed it out. If it's yours, please email me. |

Today was all about testing myself and some gear. What a perfect day in the Squam Lakes region. In the end, we did by pass the ladders and had a hell of a time on the scrambles down from Percival. Well worth it though for the views were amazing and the weather was beautiful. Very little ice (only one short spot). Enjoyed these peaks and will be back (without the dog) to experience the ladders and the scrambles with the cave. |
