trails in nice shape except for leaves and some slick stuff going up to middle sister. |

good going most of the time on all trails. just need to be cautious where there is snow/ice. up and over all the blue peaks was a mix of scrappy woods and good woods and some swamps and ledges. I found Zach's jar on the NE peak and just a greenish string on the NW peak. I wound up too far up the trail from the col on return, so I went on up to middle sister. beautiful day with super views and met some good people including a couple from Hopkinton with NJ connections like me. we swapped stories on down to the trailhead. nice to have company for a change. |
