Comments: Wore spikes (and they were necessary) on FW from a bit below Shining Rock spur to just below ridge, and for the section of GL in the shady krumholtz above the hut, and for the very upper part of OBP (ice free from a bit above the cubist rocks steeps for the rest of the way down). Had a great day on the trail with Larry (sans saw), no rain the entire hike, and the fog even started to break as we crossed Truman, to yield some nice views.
