Comments
Comments: I walked a short distance on the knight's pond loop, to launch a bushwhack up the west ridge. The bushwhack is quite steep. As I began to top out the ridge, I came to an atv trail, which I followed to some interesting views. At an outlook, after which the atv trail heads downhill, I began to bushwhack, following posted property, on the legal side. I then popped out in the yard of the home that is at the high point.

On the way back, I chose to walk closer to the cliffs. I found that a herd path follows the cliffs and there are great views. There are also some climbing ropes. I began to take a herd path that descended quite steeply and was marked sporadically by cairns. I followed this until it was directionally inappropriate and then bushwhacked to the access road.

Since this was a quick after work hike and I drive by this road regularly, I chose to save rines hill for another day.
