Parking at north end of Shelburn and at the Rattle River trailhead was plentiful. |

Dry Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Leaves - Significant/Slippery |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossings were all easy rock hops. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Hobblebush trimming is going to be necessary on Kenduskeag, some of the planks on the walkways need replacing. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Getting down the stone stairs near the top of the Rattle River Trail was difficult even with traction and could have been a problem for dogs. |

| Bugs: |
Black flies for the first two miles of Shelburn Trail but light after that. |

The weather was great, with just enough wind to keep the bugs away. |
