Main parking lot at the AMC Cardigan Lodge was completely full this morning at 6:00 am, and small lot was half full. |

Some drainages on Holt-Clark Cutoff are clogged with leaves and not draining properly. |

Black flies are an issue now. |

 | Comments: |
Trails are completely wet and mushy after yesterday's rain, with several sections of standing water. Ledges are wet and slippery. Hurricane Gap Trail had a significant (3 by 8 feet, several inches thick) chunk of blue ice on one section, avoided with a bit of fancy footwork.
Some of this dampness should dry out over the course of the day. |
