We then hiked up to the rail trail following it to the other side of the canal bridge. A short woods trail on the right led us to Hogan Road where we turned right and hiked about .3 miles south to the Mahoosuc trail head.

Comments
Comments: A nice warm-up hike. Had our lunch and enjoyed the views of the Presidentials from the south ledges and surrounds. Summit was .3 miles from here - an open ledge with limited views. Returned quickly to avoid rain.
