| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked at a small parking lot right next to the railroad overpass. Used pedestrian walkway under the bridge to cross the Androscoggin River. We then hiked up to the rail trail following it to the other side of the canal bridge. A short woods trail on the right led us to Hogan Road where we turned right and hiked about .3 miles south to the Mahoosuc trail head. |

| Comments: |
A nice warm-up hike. Had our lunch and enjoyed the views of the Presidentials from the south ledges and surrounds. Summit was .3 miles from here - an open ledge with limited views. Returned quickly to avoid rain. |
