Lost- Any desire to hike Monadnock again in the near future. |

The idiot hikers were out in full force. Flip Flops, No packs, No water, boat shoes, frat jerks drinking beer and tossing cans blaring music from bluetooth speakers, tourists hiking off trail to avoid scrambles. All reasons why we have a Hike Safe card here in NH, but what's the point? Safe Hikers are prepared, idiot hikers aren't going to buy a card because they don't know they are idiots. I really wish Monadnock State park would install signs like you see in the white mountains alerting people that they might want to think again if they aren't prepared. |
