Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked at the locked gate #195 on Cedar Brook Stream Road, 11.5 miles from Rte 145. We walked over a damaged culvert that is probably the reason why this gate is still locked.

Comments
Comments: We walked around the gate and up the road for maybe ten minutes--going up and then down and then up and shortly after the road crosses over a brook we entered the woods. We went straight for the summit through mostly nice open woods and mostly dry ground. There were a few wet spongey areas and small streams to cross. Herd paths and moose poo evertwhere! There is a nice sign on the summit. On the return we reversed our bearing and stayed pretty close to our route but nearer the bottom we tried going a big more west to see if we could find more drier ground but we didn't. Nice first hike of the day. Thanks Bryan and Zach!
