| Comments: |
The historic Elwell Trail covers some beautiful country between Newfound Lake and Mt. Cardigan. Rarely used, the path is overgrown in a couple of places and difficult to follow in a few others, but the full 10.4-mile length has been recently blazed with frequently placed yellow blazes on trees. There are also some old trail signs with the Mowglis Camp's wolf icon still marking the route. |
