Some rock hopping on the flat in the first .4 mile, nothing big. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail in good condition. One blowdown at about the 3 mile point, easily climbed over. Trail easily followed, some sign maintenance needed. Very few markers/blazes. |

Some gnats in the first mile, nothing after that. |

| Comments: |
Trail in good shape. Mainly dry, some mud but easily avoided. A couple of slick spots halfway up the ravine, but nothing dangerous. Saw 5 day-hikers descending on my way up, and only 2 NoBos at the top, very quiet at the peak. 5 hikers staying at the shelter overnight.
Great trail, but a challenge none the less, 5 hour round-trip. |
