As the weather report was in my favor I new it was time to try For my first presi traverse. So I got an early start up the valley way( which had some slippery wet rock) and caught a great sunrise from the summit of Adams. ( highly recommend ) Then off I went hoping for a pizza stop on the top of Washington only to find it locked up and I couldn't even get in to use the bathroom. Oh well. As I continued on with Mt. Pierce in my sights I had nothing but sun beating down on me. The trail was great to me today and I love the lower half of the Presi's. And also if you hadn't heard there is no more ice on these trails |
