Excellent job done by the trail adopter. Everything is cleared out and ready for the season. |

Very dog friendly. Glad I carried water for Homer, there are no water sources for pups after the first 100 yards. |

Not a problem in the morning with an early start but they were relentless by 10am. Made for a quick descent. |

Redoing the 48 with my dog. I asked myself how I'd like to tackle then again and I decided I'd do then starting with my least favorites and take a different route when possible. Well, I might be able to say through gritted teeth that I had a nice day on Tecumseh. The approach from Tripoli road is much more enjoyable than the summer conga line or the winter fumes of the valley side. Homer made a lot of friends as well. The trail was beautiful and whoever is taking care of it is doing a great job. |
