Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: we drove in corser brook road (road in excellent shape) in errol for a couple miles (did not get exact mileage) to a road on the right that dropped down across corser brook to a fork. we went right and followed the road to its drivable end at a berm before a bridgeless stream crossing. this road had a few dips on uphills that would be rough in low clearance, but otherwise it was a decent shape.

Comments
Comments: we continued up the grassy overgrown logging road from where we parked through a large landing and continued beyond using various roads often with heavily travelled moose paths easing travel. footing was often wet and muddy. we eventually took a line on nw black and crossed numerous old skid roads with a couple patches of thick growth before reaching woods that had not been recently logged. from there to the summit it was a mix of scrappy evergreen forest interspersed with nice stretchs of open fern woods. plentiful blowdown up high. we spotted the recognized highpoint pretty easily on the broad flattish summit. from the summit we headed to the col with black and just that slight shift gave us much nicer woods once we were off the summit a bit. the area around the col was real pretty and we picked up a moose highway towards black. we enjoyed open woods most of the way to the summit then some scrappiness on top. we spent a fair amount of time checking various bumps and looking for a recognized point. eventually we stumbled over a jar on the ground and faded string on a tree that were slightly away from the highest point. we rehung the jar on what we found to be the highest spot after a fair amount of due dilligence. from there we took a direct line down towards where we parked and had good woods almost all the way follwing a drainage back down.
