Occasional deer fly. Black flies were vexing in the afternoon hours. |

Trails are dry. Ski trail grass is getting high, so the gravel access road is a good way to go at this juncture. Lots of wild strawberries. Also saw quite a bit of wildlife, including a bear, deer, and mama and pup fox playing (even heard something resembling a bark). |
