| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail has been well maintained but the time has come for another brushing. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
There was plenty of fresh drinking water along the trail. The one technical section comes with the chimney between the two peaks. Water was running down it and it was very slippery. Lauky had no problem going up, but slipped while dropping from one narrow ledge to another. I caught him as he came rolling by. No harm done. The chimney is doable by a dog but if the dog doesn't want to do it the bypass while steep looked to me to be doable for most dogs. |
|
| Bugs: |
No bugs at all today. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Found the top to a water bottle near the top, had hopped to catch whoever dropped it, but never did. I still have it in case the one who lost it should read this. |

| Comments: |
Usually trails go from smooth at the trailhead to bony higher up. With this trail the opposite is true. It is very bony from the trailhead for the first 1.8 miles then smooths out. |
