| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Thanks to bryan and Nordic Gal’s intel, I drove Millsfield Pond Road for 1.1 mi. to the Deer Mtn. ATV trail. I chose to walk from that point as my car was not suited for the trail. High clearance vehicles can make significantly more headway driving. |

| Comments: |
I walked the road to the viewpoint w/picnic tables at the height of land. As I arrived at the view, significant storms rolled through, making the rest of the hike very wet. From the view point I bushwhacked towards the peak, checking a few bumps and then finding the recognized highpoint. Unfortunately, I did not have a map that showed the trail and it was a close to parallel route, so I missed it. I ended up paralleling the trail all the way down to the road, reaching it within sight of my car. Not too bad of a bushwhack (albeit wet) and I did have a good moose sighting (cow w/calf). |
