Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All were easy, water was low.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trails were in overall great shape by wilderness standards. There were a few duck unders or step overs here or there the only troublesome ones being two treetops in line with the trail on Oliverian Brook Tr.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Being first up the trail Marlie led the way. She handled the ledges with ease and scrambled up before I could even get my camera ready. There is little water along the ridge so be prepared. The Walden Tr is steep and has a couple ledgy scrambles near the bottom so be sure your pup is up for the challenge.
Bugs
Bugs: Not too bad.

Comments
Comments: Another great day out to grid out June and pick up 5 miles of new trails! We only met two other hikers all day. Unfortunately we missed Bill on the summit of Passaconaway when he dropped down the view spur. Thanks Marlie for tagging along on this warm day.
