Day 1 of 3 …. After a long drive north, we took Route 26 east from Colebrook, left onto some logging roads … Corse Brook Rd, left onto Reservoir Rd (need 4-wheel drive dew to .3 miles of washed out road) to height of land or 2600 ft +/- south of Cave, started bushwhacking NNW in open woods picking up herd path towards ridge, Headed N as things got thicker and nastier but not too bad to summit. Total whack about ¾ mile 600 ft of accent /-. We then set off to find a camp site for the night.
