Day 2 of 3 part 2…. After scouting this area, the day before (and just finishing West Tucker, but I’ll take you from route 26) take Route 26 east from Colebrook, left onto some logging roads … Corse Brook Rd, left onto Reservoir Rd, then your 2nd left that say’s .5 miles to dead end (I believe the 2nd), follow to the end to just after cabin on left. Started on some old logging roads heading west for a bit then turning south. Jumped on an older logging / trail heading west to the ridge. This was pretty easy going prior to the ridge. Once on the ridge we headed south/ south east following the ridge through lots of blowdowns (pain in butt stuff) to the summit. After leaving the summit we cut the corner dropping more NNW staying away from the blowdowns picking up that older logging rd. / trail, logging rds. and back to the car. Total whack about 3 ½ mile 1200 ft of accent +/-.
