After crossing the last brook past the beaver dam, the trail does not offer more water. So bring extra for your dogs. Saw plenty of happy dogs on the trail today. My Lab, Toby, enjoyed to meet his namesake, a 5 month old Brittany. |

| Comments: |
The forecast was for a possible rainshower but it never materialized; though it was rather humid today. Still, it was a great day for the hike, and only peaks above 5K's were in the clouds. It was great to meet Larisa ( hope I got the right spelling), the owner of the other Toby dog, a stong hiker I had read about in many trail reports last winter. |
