One duckunder on the lower section of Oliverian Brook, a few old stepovers between Passaconaway Cut Off and Square Ledge Branch. Some brushy areas, but never terrible. Square Ledge Branch in good shape. A few old stepovers on the section of Square Ledge I was on. Passaconaway Cut Off has a few muddy areas, but in good shape overall. |

| Comments: |
A quick run/hike in the rain up to Square Ledge this morning. It rained on my drive to the trailhead, but stopped for the most part before I started. Smooth going on most of Oliverian Brook, but it had started raining fairly heavily by the time I reached Square Ledge Branch, and I decided to take that instead of going up to Paugus Pass and over to Square Ledge Trail that way. Steep with sometimes slippery rock up to Square Ledge, where the views are limited to some framed views just off trail, and it had stopped raining. Down to Passaconaway Cut Off, the sun came out for a bit, and it stayed dry all the way back to the car. Had a nice dip in the Swift on my way home. |
