My family and friends joined me for my last New England and New Hampshire 4000 Footer. We arrived in late morning and cars were parked for at least a half a mile leading up to the lodge. The weather was perfect and the trails were dry. One warning to anyone heading up to Moosilauke is that there is a sick moose in the trail about a half a mile south of the summit. It has been there for a week and a half and is not leaving the trail, a NFS ranger was on the trail asking people to please bushwhack around the moose. I will have a full trip report, a video and images up on my blog eventually. |
