Comments
Comments: Picture perfect day on the Willey Range.
Started up the Avalon Trail - the side trail to Mt. Avalon is worth the detour, wonderful views down into the notch and across to the Presidentials.
The best views of the day were just below Willey on the other side. Washington and the southern presis were in clear view, and many grey jays wanted our snacks!
The summit of Tom was difficult to find, but we found some interesting views while we were looking for it.
Overall, a great (albeit underrated) hike.
