| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
North Twin Trailhead was overflowed across to the other side of the bridge, but 2-3 spots available in the lot at 12, and one or two more spots at 3. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water is very low right now. There looked to be several rock-hopping options for the lower crossing of Little River on the North Twin Trail. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
North Twin Trail is fine. A couple minor blowdowns on the Fire Warden's Trail, one shortly above the initial ramp that is a trivial duck-under right now, but skiers may not appreciate it come winter. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Good canine route. |

| Comments: |
The center section of the Fire Warden's Trail is getting a tad overgrown, not nearly enough to hide the footbed, but enough to scratch the legs now and then with raspberry bushes. The usual couple of muddy spots despite the dry weather. This is still my preferred route up Hale, though I cleaned out the spiderwebs despite the noon start. Didn't see anyone except a few people sitting in the river 1/2-mile from the trailhead. No rain despite the forecasts and occasional ominous-looking clouds and what I drove through by Cannon Mountain on the way. |
