Terrific views from Mittersill. NOTE: the ledge on the trail from Mittersill to the base of the Taft Trail has been blasted away - the route is now a snow groomer's width and quite smooth. LOTS of college students heading up to the falls and shelter - shelter looked full and had interesting implements - axe and a HUGE machete (about 2' long) in the edge of the platform - must be quite the party!!!!
Blueberries in ABUNDANCE about halfway up the Taft Ski Trail!!!!! WOW!!!!
Kind of a wet day - was scoping the backcountry ski trails and got soaked!!!! |
