| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Generally in good condition- one 2 log bridge is now only 1 log but still passable. Some places blazed well, but some major turns had no markings at all. I missed a turn coming down and had to backtrack when I realized very quickly that I was on the wrong trail. |

This is one long, difficult hike. I started at 9:15 and didn't get back out until after 6:00. (But then I am an old, slow guy) Trail at Nancy Cascades is really steep. The herd path up Nancy was very easy to find (not blocked at all) and also to follow all the way to the summit. It is quite steep in places (please avoid the slide) and starting to grow in at various places but still easy to follow. There is a sign (black lettering on a white painted board) that says "Nancy" bolted to a tree at the summit. I looked all over but did not find a register. Has it been removed or was there ever one there? #82 for me. Glad it is done |
