Comments
Comments: from the col at the road we took a line on the peak finding some scrappy woods to start along with a swamp to cross. woods opened farther in with ample undergrowth and hobblebush. we tried to avoid the upper part of a couple cuts and had pretty good going up to the recognized highpoint. we headed out on mostly the same route, but opted to wind around south of the false bump along the way which helped us miss the swamp as well. we were able to follow moose paths a fair distance before picking up pisgah mountain road a few minutes walk south of where we parked.
