took the wife up to kearsarge north where she enjoyed the great views while I went over to rickers knoll. the trails were very dry and in good shape. weeks brook has had some recent maintainance but needs some trimming in spots. was able to follow the trail fairly easily. went into the woods at the big right turn and up thru some thick and thin stuff to the summit in short order. came back down fairly easy but the hike back up to kearsarge north was stiff. we took it easy for a while at the summit then headed down. we both were getting tired but felt good as it was a fine day. seven to go on the nh300 list! |
