Comments
Comments: Nice loop up Gunstock and Rowe. Trails were dry, no mud to be found. Some mowing has been done on the lower slopes of Gunstock making the crossings of the ski trails much easier. The new re-route by BRATTS up high on Gunstock is wearing in nicely. Descending the ridge to Mt Rowe was a nice walk with a couple nice viewpoints along the way. I opted for a different route off Mt Rowe. Instead of following the Ridge Trail/Access Road I went down an old woods road and then to some old nordic trails coming out at the Alpine Ridge lot. A easy road walk back to Gunstock passing by the old ski jumps. Nice loop with something a little different.
