The lot was filled to the rafters when we arrived (late) at 10:30. Had to get creative with the parking. |

Only one, easily rock hopped |

Saw lots of pups out there. Bring extra water for them, and be mindful of their pads as the upper trail is really rocky. |

Lots of flys on the ridge...no biting, just flying around. |

I love this summit and the ridge and it's totally worth the trip....but I forgot how rocky and monotonous this trail is. I wish Sawyer River Road didn't close in the winter, because I'd love to hike this trail over the rocks on the snow.
I knew it would be busy today but I wasn't expecting it to be as busy as it was. The Dartmouth kids were out in force today, and in large groups. Please remember to keep groups to 5 or less, and please don't yell and scream on the trails. K-Thanks. |
