Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The only crossing encountered were on the trail to the south slide-both conveniently had large logs spanning the brook so feet stayed dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Scaur Ridge trail had 2 recent large birches fall directly on the trail; the canopies blocked the trail pretty good. There were also a couple of blowdowns across the trail up to the south slide.

Comments
Comments: Bushwhack out to Scaur peak was very easy;h ad a herd path the whole way. Couldn't find the canister. There are a number of toppled trees around the top so maybe one of them took it down. Did find what appeared to be an old cairn on the highpoint. Got Scaur done so early, decided to do the loop over the Tripyramids since I hadn't been up there for 20 years.
