Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues with low water levels. Didn't look at largest crossing but definitely easy rock hop. On a few short hikes yesterday the Peabody crossing on Great Gulf at suspension bridge and crossing at bottom of Glen Ellis Falls were both easy rock hops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Few broken planks up on Carter-Moriah to watch out for.

Comments
Comments: A few showers while driving to and from but only a very light rain for a few minutes while hiking. This made for some more dry trail hiking. Best I've had for trail conditions on Moriah. Yesterday traveled Rt. 2 from Lancaster to Gorham, Rt. 16 south and Rt. 302 back to I93 and best foliage seemed to be the bright reds between Cog Road and Bethlehem on Rt. 302. Congrats to two finishing the 48 today. Most of the hikers today came from Gorham side and commented on nice traction as well.
