| Comments: |
i walked the road up to a fork near a swamp and pond and after visiting the pond started my bushwhack up to rand. woods were nice though quite rocky. the final climb was fairly steep and i shifted a bit east to avoid steep ledges and small cliffs just below the summit ridge. once on the ridge i headed west to the summit. my altimeter had the highest point right about at the spot elevation where there is a cairn, but there are a couple more bumps to the west that are close contenders as well. with leaves off the trees there would be some nice views to the south. i hiked down along roughly the same route. |
