Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Numerous, 10 I believe, crossings via this route. All were easy hops due to the water levels being so low.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: These trails are in pretty good shape. Not the normal wear like you see on the conventional routes. There were a few brushy sections as well as several step over blow downs. We built a small cairn where the trail leaves the open area on the Rainbow Trail. It was a bit difficult to find at first.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: no issues for dogs
Bugs
Bugs: none
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A pair of golves on the sign at the trailhead

Comments
Comments: Nice quiet approach to Carter Dome. The trails were wet from the recent rain and stayed wet all day to due a thick fog. The birch glade on the Rainbow Trail was beautiful. Lots of color showing with just a little bit of green left. Should be peaking very soon.
