Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Drove in Meriden Hill Rd. At the 1st fork we dropped a car at before gate leaving room. Followed Meriden Hill Rd and took a right at Brown Rd. Followed Brown Rd to the end. At the camp with the female manikin wearing a bra, witch hat and carrying a pumpkin we took a left going uphill on rougher road for a few hundred yards or so. Then we took a right a to and open area and parked at a locked gate. You’ll need 4-wheel drive with so clearance to get up hear. There’s really no other good options for parking. We spoke with one of the camp owners who was just checking in with us and gave us some info on the area. Nice guy.

Comments
Comments: Hiked this with my wife Mary and Lisa & Rick F. We headed off threw the gate following the dirt road downhill and came to a T. Took a right (west) and followed that ¼ mile or so than started bushwhacking towards the col between Goback & Teapot picking up lots of logging cuts at first. Once they stopped we just bushwhacked threw open woods picking up herd paths here and there. As we got closer to the col the wood got la little bit thicker but not too bad. We ended up on the shoulder of Goback a little higher the col to avoid dropping into the ravine between the two mountains. After going through the col we started up the ridge of Teapot towards the summit and hit an awesome ledge ban at about 3200 ft. Skirted around it with no problems. We hit the summit soon enough dropped in a northerly direction straight down to an older logging road that brought us to the same dirt road we had parked our car spot. Mary found a moose antler the day before on East Spruce :}
