Comments
Comments: Other than the wet leaves, trail conditions are good on the first half of Rattle River, whereas the upper half where the trail steepens has significant snow accumulation. Deeper snow is up top on Kenduskeag and makes for good hiking. We put on light traction (stabilicers or micro spikes) at the junction and kept them on until we got all the way back down onto the Rattle River flats.

Despite the mountain's 52wav status, it could offer no views today, with heavy clouds, snow squalls, and strong winds. But no complaints. Bring on the snow!
