Decided to hike Kearsarge North to avoid hiking through slush or crossing brooks. There was an occasional thin film of snow on the trail starting around 3,000 feet. The ledges were slippery in places. There were some loose stones hidden under the cover of leaves. Running water on trail especially above the ledges.
Nice view on the snowy summit of Mt Washington from the fire tower.
Many hikers on the trail. Nice conversation with a hiker from Groveton. |
