Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: This would be a long day for most pups. Not enough snow coverage to guard against the sharp talus rocks.

Comments
Comments: Typical shoulder season conditions. A huge mixed bag of every type of snow, ice and bare rock. We brought snowshoes and actually used them though one could have suffered a little bit of post holing to forgo carrying the extra weight. We were constantly changing in and out of spikes and snowshoes. I'm sure with today's warm temps there will be more melting of the snow up there, I would say spikes will suffice until the next snowfall. This was the most challenging PT I have done thus far, slow ground conditions but a gorgeous weather day. Link below for more details and some pics.
