Comments
Comments: Since the summits were predicted to be in the clouds and the snow at higher elevations I decided to stay at mid level and hike the A.T. in the Pinkham Notch area. Today was cloudy with a few peeks of sun then overcast and some snow showers in the morning and then some raindrops in the afternoon. Temps from 25 to 40 and breezy at times. There were only a few small patches of snow in the Lowe's Bald Spot area but the trails were wet with flowing water and muddy areas. I opened up a few water bars to help drain the water from the trail. Saw about a dozen hikers today. Not a great day but still good to be in the woods.
