| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
from berlin i drove success pond road for roughly 10.8 miles. the road was generally rough, but with no major issues. i turned left onto marigrande road and conditions became more interesting. not low clearance territory, but my mid clearance awd did ok. lots of potholes and iceberg rocks with some difficult culverts for 1.6 where i turned right onto an unmarked road. this road was grassy in the middle, but in good shape to its end at an old log landing where i parked. low clearance vehicles would probably do better to come from the success pond side of the peak which has easier driving access, but for higher clearance this was a good starting point. |

| Comments: |
from the log landing it was a straight forward and relatively short open woods bushwhack all the way to the summit. all hardwoods except for right around the coniferous summit area. some blowdown right around the highpoint. i found two recognized highpoints within spitting distance of eachother that i consolidated down to one. i descended the same way. |
