I walked a short distance up to the gate and then the trail. The trail to 1/2 mi pond is marked in red. The bottom is obscured by logging; if you go up over the slash, you should see red blazes very soon. The trail took care to follow in places, but is not bad. From the pond I bushwhacked up to the recognized highpoint. |
