Comments
Comments: Group of three of us with Random Group of Hikers. When we started at 8:30am, the ground was mostly frozen, but we didn't really need spikes going up Old Bridle until just before agony ridge. We kept the spikes on until we got to the waterfalls on Falling Waters. There were LOTS of people out today without traction -- not smart. It is super icy in places, such as between the Greenleaf hut and treeline on Lafayette, and the top of Falling Waters trail. The ridge line was a mix of rock and ice, but we opted to keep on the traction. Windy on the ridge but great day overall.
