Comments
Comments: Wore trail runners w/o traction until descending Edmands Path, and then wore spikes to about 1/2 mile below the upper stream crossing. No snow to speak of on Jefferson, Clay or the north side of Washington. Crawford Path to Lake of the Clouds had the usual snowfields, which had softening snow by afternoon, with running water underneath. Spring/rotten snow conditions in stretches. Monroe to Franklin pretty good. A bit of postholing around Franklin, but clear from there to the summit of Eisenhower. Ice on the upper 1/3 of Edmands path.
