Tough to ascend that last bit beyond the last driveway to the parking spots without AWD/FWD. If you don't have either, get some good speed going before that point! Road to that point was sanded. |

One tree fallen on trail about 1/3 way up to Starr King summit. Easy/quick detour. |

| Comments: |
Under 3000 feet, snow was getting to the slush point, with temps above freezing. Above 3000, more snow. Barebooted the whole way, without gaiters. Snow depth up on top is perhaps 5-6". Saw about 10 people along the way, and trail is well-packed. In the clouds, so this was a good day for Waumbek. :) |
