Comments
Comments: All these trails were a mix of bare trail covered by leaves and/or 1-2" of wet snow from the last fall/melt. At no point did I consider putting the Spikes on. There was a recent set of prints ascending the Wentworth Trail which stopped at the outlook knob before the summit proper but the only ones I saw on the Mead Trail were two sets of fresh bear tracks - and one other set on the Guinea Pond Trail near the junction.

Views of a wonderful undercast were had through the trees ascending the Wentworth Trail and then in various directions at the top where the outlook was wide and grand. Descending the Mead and Guinea Pond Trails was a pleasure given the slightly sloppy conditions. The walk on Sandwich Notch Road wasn't bad at all - there are worse road to walk IMO. This small section of the Bearcamp River Trail was a nice surprise as it meanders through the Sandwich Town Forest passing Beede Falls and the 'cow cave.'

Comfy temps, no wind and many interesting features made this a pleasant and varied route - which was spent in complete solitude as I did not see another person on this trek.
